Epitaph of an atheist
Wednesday, 24 June 2009
In a Thurmont, Maryland, cemetery:
Here lies an Atheist All dressed up And no place to go.
Atheists can claim that they is no God and do what they like with their lives. The final test comes when they face the moment of truth. The moment of death. They are all dressed up. But where do they go?
Once they have taken their last breath, the choice is no longer theirs. It is decided by their Creator.
We are given one chance to decide where we go in eternity after we die. That decision must be made before we die.
Romans 5:12
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Romans 5:21
That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

I don’t believe that to be entirely correct. Atheists cannot do whatever they please with their lives. In fact the theist has the same freedoms and rights the Atheist does, we must all abide by the same rules in placed by our government. Not to mention how many times do you hear, “I committed this crime in the name of Atheism!” as opposed to, “I killed my children because I was told to by God.” Atheists and theists share many of the same morals. Does one require religion to learn these morals? I think not, I believe that all humans are born with a since of right and wrong, that it is incorporated into our DNA. Theists just have a way of shrugging it off, in saying, “If I pray hard enough, or go to confession every week, or quit smoking, God will forgive me.” The Atheist cannot be forgiven so easily, they must find it in themselves to forgive themselves and to find forgiveness from their victim(s). Think about it, apes, our closest relative in the animal kingdom, don’t go around killing or committing rape. Also, I thought Christ died for all sin on earth; as such there can be no more sin. And if we all go to heaven, where all of our wishes and wants are granted, what’s the point of living on earth? If all we have to look forward to can only be found in death, then there is no point in living. And if we all have to live perfect, sinless lives to get into Heaven, what’s the point of being human?
